Les Neal, 42+ year industry veteran and SDC's Factory Sales Associate, endured some good-natured ribbing on his official retirement from SDC and the Door Hardware industry today.
Dalton Geringer, SDC’s Operations Manager, manned our exhibit at Ventura College’s Part Time and Seasonal Job Fair on October 12th, to make students aware of our part-time job openings. SDC supported this community event particularly for those considering a career in manufacturing as a way of gaining invaluable experience while completing their education.
Shane Geringer - pictured relaxing outside his office with our “Getting To Know SDC” Brochure and Football Trophy – won the SDC NFL office football pool for Week 4. Word has it he promised to work from the floor the rest of the week so people will believe his gratitude and humility at having won the pool over the rest of us.
These two industry veterans add to our commitment to excellence.
We’re very pleased to announce the addition of Erik Mosher and Les Neal to the SDC sales team. Both bring unique experience and valuable knowledge by virtue of wearing several hats during their careers in the industry.

With a visually appealing and functional design, SDC Door Prop Alarms are compatible with all access control systems, but can also function as a stand-alone solution. Now you can support positive access control and security behavior at any facility.
THE LOCK BEHIND THE SYSTEM
Since 1972 SDC products have been Designed, Engineered and Built in America while most of our larger competitors manufacture overseas. Our new condensed catalog provides streamlined access to a robust toolbox of over 35,000 access and egress control components that form turnkey solutions to address almost any door opening imagined.
SDC’s locking systems can be found in virtually any application where access control of a door is required. We’re particularly adept at new or retrofit applications of 1 – 10 doors, where 80% of the security door and hardware market exists.
We provide savings and profits to our partners through:
- Lower installation costs
- Fewer callbacks, increased longevity
- High-touch service that only a family-run enterprise can provide
Tom Morrison, SDC’s National Sales Manager, multi-tasked with the folks from Intermountain Lock & Security Supply – playing in their tournament on July 12th while doing his best Michael Jackson, 1-glove imitation. No word if he was required to pay additional green fees for deep furrows created from moon-walking in his golf shoes after sinking a few putts. Hopefully, he received a pass due to our Tee Sponsorship and valued partnership with IMLSS.
