The SDC S5000 exit device is equipped with a factory installed, motorized latch retraction mechanism, enabling storefront access control. This eliminates the need for unsightly magnetic locks and makes the S5000 particularly suited to aluminum glass entrances for both manual and automated door openings and new or retrofit applications.

Understanding Motorized Electric Latch Retraction
