Medium & Wide Stile Storefront Upgrades for Access Control
SDC’s S5000 is a heavy duty, code compliant alternative to magnetic locks for storefront applications that meets the market need for a storefront exit device with electric latch retraction standard for access control compatibility.
Nightlatch functionality is available through the use of a rim key cylinder for medium and wide stile doors making these exit devices perfect for industrial, healthcare and education aluminum glass applications. 
For applications that do not require nightlatch function for key override in the event of power loss, then exit only S5000 devices can be utilized on narrow stile doors commonly found in retail storefront applications.
This UL305 panic-rated exit device is American made, featuring all metal construction that is particularly suited to aluminum glass entrances for both manual and automated door openings and new or retrofit applications.
